Rajalakshmi Children Foundation (RCF) is delighted to share the successful selection and onboarding of Cohort-5 for the current academic year. This milestone reflects the collective dedication and support of our volunteers, donors, teachers, and well-wishers, who continue to stand behind RCF’s mission of empowering deserving students through education and creating opportunities for them to build a brighter future.
As part of the selection process, RCF reached nearly 83,111 NMMS applicants, prepared shortlists across 78 Talukas in 13 Education Districts, and reached out to 4,626 shortlisted students. The selection process included entrance tests for 3,497 students across 32 centres, more than 300 telephonic interviews, and the configuration of 520+ tablets with parental controls to support safe and effective digital learning. In addition, RCF organized 9 orientation programmes and prepared timetables for 700+ live classes every month for Classes 9 and 10, enabling online classes for all selected students to begin before the end of August.
Behind every number is a student, a family, a dream, and an opportunity. The journey of Cohort-5 is a reflection of what can be achieved when individuals and organizations come together with a shared purpose. We sincerely thank our volunteers for their valuable time, commitment, and dedication throughout the selection and onboarding process. We are equally grateful to our donors and well-wishers for their continued support and for investing in the dreams, aspirations, and potential of these young learners.
The journey of Cohort-5 has only just begun, and we are grateful to have you with us every step of the way.
