On December 23rd, Rajalakshmi Children Foundation organized a unique celebration of National Mathematics Day at Kanabargi Government High School, Belagavi, to honor the legacy of Srinivasa Ramanujan. The event aimed to make Mathematics enjoyable through outdoor games and experiential learning.

Students from seven schools in Belagavi participated in various activities. The highlight was an array of mathematics-related games, such as constructing angles, solving linear equations, and calculating the value of Pi using ropes. These activities not only made learning fun but also helped students develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

The objectives of the celebration included promoting mathematical awareness, encouraging teamwork, and building confidence in Mathematics. The event featured an inspiring inauguration, a mathematics-themed skit showcasing real-life applications, and interactive sessions with games that made abstract concepts more relatable.

Certificates, bags, and caps were distributed to all participating students as a token of appreciation. Dr. Ravindra N. Guravannavar also delivered an insightful talk on the significance of Mathematics in everyday life.

Overall, the National Mathematics Day celebration successfully fostered a love for Mathematics, enhanced problem-solving skills, and inspired students to explore the fascinating world of numbers and patterns.
