The Rajalakshmi Children Foundation organized an immersive outdoor learning experience for 72 students from Pratibha Poshak Cohort 1 as part of the Pratibha Sammelana Event. From March 2nd to 4th, 2025, the students participated in the Nature Bound Sahyadri OBT Camp, engaging in various adventure and team-building activities. The camp aimed to provide a holistic learning experience beyond the classroom, incorporating experiential learning, zip-lining, balance games, meditation, tent stays, net climbing, bird watching, and trekking. These activities were designed to enhance physical endurance, mental resilience, and teamwork, helping students develop valuable life skills in a natural and challenging environment.
The camp also focused on fostering leadership, self-reliance, and mindfulness among students. Through group challenges and outdoor survival tasks, they learned to collaborate, adapt, and think critically in unfamiliar situations. Meditation sessions encouraged mental clarity and emotional well-being, while exposure to nature deepened their understanding of environmental conservation. The hands-on experiences and adventure-based learning helped students step out of their comfort zones, building their confidence, problem-solving abilities, and a spirit of exploration. The camp left a lasting impact, reinforcing the importance of experiential education in shaping well-rounded individuals.
